This local club is part of the world’s largest service organisation Lions Clubs International, and falls within the multiple district of British Isles and Ireland.

The N.P.S. Lions has in the past run an extensive Youth Programme.
Booksales have been held at various venues within the 3 towns with the main one taking place at Paradise Park.
The association is both non-political and non-sectarian. The LIONS’ motto is “WE SERVE” and its mission statement reads:
“To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international co-operation”
We run a scheme whereby local community groups that represent the disabled and those with significant mobility issues, can book to use a minibus (with driver), from a local transport operator, free of charge.
We have collected old spectacles and hearing aids from local opticians in Seaford and Peacehaven.
We have made donations to the Medic Alert scheme.

We have passed on winter fuel payments - which have been generously donated - to many people who just cannot keep warm during the winter months.
Newhaven, Peacehaven and Seaford Lions Club are part of the International Association of Lions Clubs. Lions are members of community service clubs, dedicated to the idea that the men and women who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why.
