There are ample parking spaces on Marine Parade.
a) About 7 days before the race, we will e-mail your registration ticket to the email supplied at the time of application. Please download to your phone or print and bring this with you. Registration opens at 7.00am we will scan your registration ticket and speed you through the registration process where you will collect your race number. If you are unable to do this for some reason, please bring your application email receipt that was issued by our credit card handler “NO CHEX” at the time of application.
b) Competitors can register on Saturday 11th May between 12 noon and 2.00pm. at Seaford Rugby Club.
c) Closing date for entries 11 May 2019 at 10pm, entries only via the following link. We will not be accepting on the day or postal entries.
Mass start at 9am.
The route is well signed and marshals will be available at strategic points. Water stations are situated at various points along the route and biscuits are also provided. There is also a water station at the end of the race.
All entrants are expected to have finished the course by 13.00 hours when official timing will end.
There will also be limited changing facilities and showers at the Rugby Club.
Welfare of entrants.
Public conveniences are available at the Rugby Club, on Seaford seafront (near the Buckle and at the Martello Tower and in Alfriston village – detour needed ask marshals for direction to car park).
In the case of an emergency entrants are advised to contact the nearest marshal for assistance.
First aid is provided by St. John Ambulance and is contactable through the marshals on the course.
If an entrant is unable to complete the course transport will be arranged via the marshals to return the individual to the start point.
We would advise all entrants to write their details on the rear of the race bib to aid any medical intervention on the day.
Results will be published on our web site and these provisional results will be declared final at 12.00 noon on Wednesday 15 May 2019. Please notify any errors prior to Wednesday.
Presentation – There will be a presentation of trophies at the Rugby club at 11.30 a.m. (approx) – for individual men/ladies. Age groups, Under 40, 40 – 59 and 60 plus.
The event is open to all runners and will take place whatever the weather conditions. To comply with AAA rules all runners must be 18 years of age. Under 18s are permitted as walkers where an adult (ie the person who pays the entry fee) accepts responsibility for the young person. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
