There are ample parking spaces on Marine Parade.
A). About 7 days before the race, we will e-mail your registration ticket, (bar code) to the e-mail address supplied at the time of application. Please download to your phone or print and bring this with you. We will scan your registration ticket, to progress you quickly through the registration process, where you will collect your race number.
If you are unable to obtain your registration ticket for any reason, please bring your application e-mail receipt that was issued by our credit card handler “NO CHEX” at the time of application
B). registration is held in Seaford Rugby Club and is open between 7:00am and 8:45am on the day.
C). Competitors can pre-register on Saturday 11th May between 12:00 noon and 2:00pm at Seaford Rugby Club
D). Closing date for entries 11 May 2019 at 10am, entries only via the following link. We will not be accepting on the day or postal entries.
Mass start at 9am.
The route is well signed and marshals will be available at strategic points. Water stations are situated at various points along the route and biscuits are also provided. There is also a water station at the end of the race.
All entrants are expected to have finished the course by 13.00 hours when official timing will end.
There will also be limited changing facilities and showers at the Rugby Club.
Welfare of entrants.
Public conveniences are available at the Rugby Club, on Seaford seafront (near the Buckle and at the Martello Tower and in Alfriston village – detour needed ask marshals for direction to car park).
In the case of an emergency entrants are advised to contact the nearest marshal for assistance.
First aid is provided by St. John Ambulance and is contactable through the marshals on the course.
If an entrant is unable to complete the course transport will be arranged via the marshals to return the individual to the start point.
We would advise all entrants to write their details on the rear of the race bib to aid any medical intervention on the day.
The Seaford Half Marathon, (organised by Newhaven Peacehaven & Seaford Lions Club), was held last Sunday 12th May 2019. It was very successful with 204 runners (and several walkers), completing the course. reports back from some of the runners included: “It is a tough course but very enjoyable”, “A very pretty course”, and the one we like the most “The best Half Marathon in Sussex”.

Presentation – There will be a presentation of trophies at the Rugby club at 11.30 a.m. (approx) – for individual men/ladies. Age groups, Under 40, 40 – 59 and 60 plus.
The event is open to all runners and will take place whatever the weather conditions. To comply with AAA rules all runners must be 18 years of age. Under 18s are permitted as walkers where an adult (ie the person who pays the entry fee) accepts responsibility for the young person. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
